Add the events by clicking on the Google Calendar in the bottom right hand corner of the school calendar. Keyboarding Class

Help improve your student’s typing speed and form by registering for our new after school keyboarding class. Students will be using Mavis Beacon’s software to complete a 12-session program.

Days: Tuesday and Wednesday

Dates: April 13^th – May 19^th

Time: 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM (Students will need to be picked up at 3:30 PM)

Where: MVMS Main Computer Lab

Drive Your Surrey to Oklahoma! Don’t miss the Marriotts Ridge Theatre Department presentation of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II’s OKLAHOMA! Based on the play Green Grow the Lilacs, the story is a simple tale of cowhands and farmers finding love and community in the Oklahoma territory. 

Come for the catchy tunes and rip-roarin’ dance numbers, all brought to you by over 100 Marriotts Ridge students on and off stage! Bring your family to the Hoedown picnic at 1:30 PM before the 3:00 PM Sunday Matinee on March 21^st and enjoy lunch, roping and dance demonstrations for just $5. Oklahoma! performances are:  March 18^th, 19^th and 20^th at 7:00 PM and March 21^st at 3:00 PM. HCC Summer 2010 Startalk Language Program: Learn one of three languages: Arabic, Chinese or Hindi June 28^th - July 29^th, Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM at Howard Community College Campus. Spring Middle School Study Skills Classes start next week. Classes help students who don't test well, despite doing well in class, who are easily distracted and frequently bored, who have never learned how to study, and who think outside the box. They may be gifted learners, or they may be struggling. Middle  school classes meet for four Monday evenings from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM. at Burleigh Manor MS. Choose from sessions that start on March 22^nd or April 26^th. The sliding scale fee ranges from $135 to $160, depending on the take home materials selected. Registration includes a copy of the new What's My Style? Test and Study Secrets for Procrastinating Teens, An Owner's Manual for Your Brain, by Betty Caldwell.
