The MRHS Poms Squad is holding tryouts for the 2010-2011 school year from Monday, May 17th to Wednesday, May 19th from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM in the dance studio.

 

Attention 8th Grade Parents:  Calling all future Mustand Parents!!  Want to get involved in your 8th graders new school early, meet other MRHS parents, and see whatÕs going on at MRHS?  We are looking for the next generation of volunteers to help run the annual 5K and 1mile run/walk.  Next yearÕs Mustang Stampede is Halloween weekend.  If interested in participating on the planning committee or helping out on race day, please contact the Race Director, Paul Laux, at Mustang5K@verizon.net.     

 

Preakness Celebration - Hot Air Balloon Festival at Turf Valley: The festival is Thursday, May 13th and Friday, May 14th, 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Admission is free. The Balloon Launch is Saturday, May 15th at 6:30 AM. All public parking will be offsite. Events include: craft vendors, tethered balloon rides (small fee), walk thru balloon, balloon glow (at dusk), childrenÕs Pee Wee Preakness and other childrenÕs entertainment, live music, specialty food.

 

River Hill High School PTSA is sponsoring Ticked Off About Lyme on Thursday. May 20th, 7:00 PM.at RHHS auditorium. Career Academies Summer Camp:  Monday - Friday, June 28th - July 2nd, 8:00 AM – Noon at Applications and Research Lab, 10920 Route 108, Ellicott City. Students currently in grades 7 - 8 can learn about careers in science, technology, engineering, culinary science and business.
