Field Trip
The annual Seventh Grade Picnic was held at Centennial Park in Ellicott City, on Monday, June 7. It was a beautiful day, and a GREAT time was had by all! The students participated in team building activities sponsored by the seventh grade teachers, and enjoyed music by Mount View's very own DJ, Mr. Mike Mitchell. The seventh grade teachers would like to extend a special thanks to the PTA for their support of the Seventh Grade Picnic! Also, thank you to the following parent chaperones:
Ms. Schubert, Ms. Fitzpatrick, Ms. Gundersen, Ms. Holzman, Mr. Harvil, Ms. Hanon, Ms. Kennedy, Ms. Buch, Ms. Walker, and Ms. Parker.

Student Absences: The 7th grade teachers understand your concerns about extended student absences due to illness. While absent, your child’s first priority should be to get healthy! Once your child is feeling better, please encourage him/her to check the teacher websites for class work and homework assignments. Per school policy, your child will have a number of school days to complete make-up work equivalent to the number of missed days. If your child is absent three or more school days, a work request can be submitted via the front office. Please contact Mrs. O'Ferrall or Mrs. Poknis with any questions.
