Winter Castles
On Wednesday, March 10th from1:15-2;25pm the  6th grade  students will construct their winter castles in the Dining hall. Parent Volunteers are needed for set up, monitoring and clean up! Please e-mail elaine_mezeivtch@hcpss.org by Friday,March 5th if you can help. 


Outdoor Education
Students have an opportunity to participate in a 3 day Outdoor Educational field trip on May 24-26 at Camp Letts in Edgewater, Md. The cost of the trip will be $150 per student. There will be a parent volunteer lottery. Cost per volunteer is $100. Information and payment forms  will be sent home around  March 1st.

Outdoor Education Parent Information Meeting will be on Thursday, March 11, 2009 at 7:00pm.





Sixth Grade Helpful Hints
Please make sure your child has extra money for lunch in their backpack or locker. 
Unfortunately, Mount View does not lend money to students who forget or loose their lunch or lunch money.

 If your child is absent please email:mvmsabsence@hcpss.org. 

If your child has an early dismissal please send a note to the office. Your child's name will be put on the MVMS Ticker (TV) as a reminder. Please encourage  them to report to the office at their designated early dismissal time.

Extended absences must be approved by the principal 2 weeks prior. Forms are located on MVMS and HCPSS websites.
