Mount View is in it's third year of implementing a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program. The program started with "Gotchas" that staff used to positively recognize students that exhibited school wide expectations. This year the Gotchas have been replaced with Talon Tokens that students can redeem on Fridays during lunch. The purpose of the program is to reinforce positive behavior through the Talon Tokens and shift more attention to students that consistently make good choices. On addition to the positive tokens, students will participate in grade level activities (Skyflier Days) each quarter that will recognize the overall positive behavior of our students.
